Solar & Infrastructure Inspection

Inspect solar plants, power lines and linear assets across large areas in a single deployment.

What it is

Large assets hide small faults. A drone covers rows of panels or kilometres of line in a single deployment and records the position of every anomaly, so maintenance crews go straight to the problem.

Where it is used

  • Solar plant module and string inspection
  • Transmission and distribution line patrols
  • Road, rail and pipeline corridor inspection
  • Pre-commissioning and handover surveys

Our approach

Inspection scope, sensor and reporting format are agreed up front, so findings can be fed into your maintenance workflow.

How the work runs

  1. 01

    Understand

We learn what you need to decide, measure or prove, and which outputs will get you there.

  2. 02

    Plan

We design the mission: platform, sensor, flight plan, ground control and the permissions the site requires.

  3. 03

    Capture

Our pilots fly the site and check data quality before leaving the field.

  4. 04

    Process

Raw data becomes maps, models, measurements and findings, checked against control.

  5. 05

    Deliver

You receive reports and files in the formats your team uses, with a walkthrough of the results.

Questions about solar & infrastructure inspection

More answers in our drone services FAQ.

What can a drone find on a solar plant?

Visual inspection shows soiling, breakage, shading and vegetation. Thermal inspection, where included in scope, highlights modules and strings running hotter than their neighbours.

Can you inspect long corridors such as power lines or pipelines?

Yes. Corridors are flown in sections and delivered as a continuous, georeferenced record.
